VISION CAMERA TRUST envisions media and communication as tools for freedom of expression, social justice, democracy, secularism, cultural pluralism, peace and religious harmony. It seeks to promote ‘communication-integrated development processes’ which make development efforts more participatory and sustainable, leading to the social, economical, educational and cultural empowerment of the downtrodden.
MISSION
CAMERA TRUST aims to canalize media resources for empowering people and bringing about social transformation. It aims to promote people-centered media, train people-oriented media professionals and support people’s art forms, which give expression to the culture and needs of the oppressed and the disadvantaged.
It aims to document a) people’s struggles and individual initiatives for a better world and b) successful development initiatives in order to inspire the civil society to participate in development processes.
